DECISIO puts an end to this fragmentation: built on a modular, microservices-based and multi-tenant architecture, it is the next-generation platform for data retrieval, harmonization, and analysis of complex healthcare data.

A modular technology

DECISIO acts as a middleware, transforming heterogeneous data into a single, coherent language.

The platform uses the OMOP Common Data Model as the primary reference for APIs and the clinical record, ensuring compatibility with research networks. Its architecture is based on independent microservices that can be enabled or disabled depending on the tenant’s needs, in a flexible and scalable way; DECISIO supports both shared cloud-based infrastructure (SaaS) and dedicated On-Premise installations for autonomy and control requirements.

For medical software, adopting privacy procedures and structured security measures is an essential requirement: it protects the confidentiality of health data, ensures integrity and service availability, and guarantees operation traceability and access control, in compliance with GDPR (Art. 32) and the best risk management standards.

  • Standards-based interoperability: native integration and APIs compliant with OMOP, plus a dedicated HL7 FHIR module, essential for bidirectional exchange with clinical information systems.
  • AI-based clinical support: an independent AI microservice providing decision support, pre-processing, and automatic summarization of clinical documents.
  • AI normalization: a RAG engine that automates mapping, semantic transcoding, and syntactic validation of imported data (CSV, JSON, XML) into the OMOP standard, using controlled dictionaries such as SNOMED CT.
  • Decisio features dynamic widgets that facilitate interaction with data and provide immediate access to the application's key functionalities.
